Abstract

Nodefleet proposes to provide high-performance RPC infrastructure for the Moonbeam ecosystem for the Q2 and Q3 2026 funding cycle. Our globally distributed infrastructure supports high-throughput blockchain applications and currently serves over 500M RPC requests daily across supported networks. Through this proposal, Nodefleet aims to strengthen the reliability and decentralization of RPC services for the Moonbeam ecosystem.


Motivation

Nodefleet’s mission is to provide reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure that allows developers and applications to interact seamlessly with blockchain networks.

Reliable RPC infrastructure is essential for the success of decentralized applications, wallets, and developer tooling. By contributing production-grade RPC infrastructure, Nodefleet helps ensure that developers building on Moonbeam networks have fast and stable access to blockchain data.

Nodefleet will operate RPC infrastructure for:

  • Moonbase Alpha

  • Global load balancing between US East and EU East regions

  • Dedicated infrastructure for high-query workloads

Bootnode Support

Nodefleet is also prepared to operate bootnodes for:

  • Moonbeam

  • Moonriver

  • Moonbase Alpha

Bootnodes improve peer discovery, network resilience, and decentralization.

Reliable RPC infrastructure ensures that developers and users can interact with blockchain networks without needing to manage complex infrastructure themselves.

Nodefleet contributes to the Moonbeam ecosystem by introducing an additional independent RPC provider with production-grade infrastructure. Our multi-region architecture and redundant RPC endpoints help increase network resilience while ensuring fast and reliable data access for developers, wallets, and decentralized applications.

Based on our infrastructure requirements for Moonbeam, Moonriver, and Moonbase Alpha nodes:

Total cost for Q2 2026 / Q3 2026 = $24,000

Use of Treasury Funds

Treasury funds will be used to operate and maintain the RPC infrastructure required to support the Moonbeam ecosystem.

This includes:

  • operation of full nodes and archive nodes

  • storage and compute infrastructure

  • monitoring and maintenance

  • operational support and incident response

Nodefleet infrastructure includes multi-region redundancy and continuous monitoring to ensure stable RPC service availability.

Nodefleet will provide public RPC endpoints with archival support for Moonbeam ecosystem networks.

Infrastructure specifications include:

  • HTTPS and WebSocket RPC endpoints

  • Archive node support

  • Support for eth, debug and trace methods

  • Global load balancing between regions

  • Enterprise-grade monitoring and alerting

  • Continuous upgrades and maintenance
