Abstract
This proposal is to authorize an upgrade to RT3901 on Moonbeam. This hotfix addresses an issue which is preventing stDOT holders from successfully performing redemptions in StellaSwap.
Details
As a consequence to the asset hub migration, StellaSwap users can’t execute stDOT redemptions. This is because Moonbeam had a customization within its runtime allowing the use of the XCM Transactor to interact with the Relay Chain but not AssetHub. Unfortunately, this missed when preparing for the AssetHub migration.
Although RT4001 also includes a fix, it won’t be deployed until December 10th. The Technical Committee has voted to whitelist an authorization to upgrade to RT3901 on Moonbeam which contains the needed change so it can be fixed quickly.
This change is not required on Moonriver.
