Name: Neal Peters
Timezone: CET (Amsterdam)
English Proficiency: IRL Level 4
Committee Position: Technical Expert
Qualifications & Experience:
I began my IT career as a service desk employee when I was 17 years old (I’m now 37 years old), which marked the formal start of my professional journey. Over the years, I’ve gained substantial experience in various aspects of IT, including server administration, development, cloud infrastructure, data centers, security, and business process optimization in roles like CTO and Architect.
I hold a degree in Business Informatics, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both business and technology. Since then, I have continuously pursued professional development through various courses, ensuring that I stay updated with the latest industry trends. In 2017, I developed an interest in blockchain technology, which led me to join a team in 2019, where I quickly assumed the role of CTO. I streamlined development processes and led the creation of several apps, including the core part of a game, marking my entry into the gaming industry.
Since then, I’ve advised over 20 gaming studios on both business and technical aspects (with a large focus on security) and founded N3MUS, where we’re developing solutions for over 200 gaming studios. My expertise also extends into AI and DePin tech, driven by my passion for infrastructure.
Motivation:
In 2022, I founded an angel investment group that supported Beamswap, marking my first interaction with the Moonbeam ecosystem. Over time, I became deeply involved with Moonbeam, and in 2023, my company was accepted into the Moonbeam Accelerator Program, providing an invaluable opportunity to deepen our integration with Moonbeam technology. Our company is now fully focused on onboarding more gaming studios and exploring the potential of Moonbeam.
I was also part of the Game Bounty Curators for Polkadot and actively participated in grant discussions. While I’m known for being direct, I believe this is a strength, allowing me to offer clear, concise insights. I have a strong understanding of Moonbeam’s needs and the ability to translate technical elements into value, which is crucial for evaluating grants.
If selected, I aim to:
- Support the growth of the Gaming, DePin and RWA ecosystem on Moonbeam.
- Mentor the next generation of innovators, much like Moonbeam did for me.
Code of Conduct:
I fully commit to adhering to the code of conduct.
Conflicts of Interest:
I have no conflicts of interest. Should N3MUS apply for a grant, I will recuse myself from the process.
Availability:
As I manage my own schedule, I am flexible and can commit the necessary time to attend meetings, conduct thorough due diligence, and review projects in detail.
Kind regards,
Neal Peters
