  • Reasoning: Points made in Sicco’s forum post seem very reasonable to me and very well primed for streamlining the Grants Committee’s efficiency & effectiveness. In particular regarding the extension of the Committee term from 6 months to 1 year. We’ve had similar suggestions of improvement for the Treasury Council internally as 6 months simply wouldn’t cut it with regards to familiarisation & practice on the job if all three Non-Foundation members were to be replaced all at once. Aye!

    Soon after all this the InvArch’s founder posted this which reduces the advantages for Moonbean ecosystem of opening up HRMP channels with MB and registering xcVARCH to near zero imo.

  • Reasoning: Very high self-bonds can become a barrier to entry for new operators and be an unnecessary burden on existing operators. As @legendnodes pointed out in the forum post there now is a better way of getting rid of very low-performant operators and disincentivisation through very high stakes on their side is much less necessary.
