Delegated votes report & educational content - 02-04/25 - Rafael Yahlomi
Hi there,
Attached a summary of all of my MOVR delegate votes for 02-04/25 and educational content, so let’s go!
Referendum #69:
Decision - voted ‘Aye’ in personal funds (6x) and delegated tokens
Explanation - The referendum suggests to burn 100% of the transaction fees (currently 80% burn and the remaining goes to the treasury)
We believe burning 100% of the transaction fees will have a better impact, mainly from psychological aspects. The difference between 80% to 100% isn’t huge, hence if we already burn 80%, it’s preferred to burn 100% and mention it everywhere we can
Referendum #70:
Decision - voted ‘Aye’ in personal funds (6x) and delegated tokens
Explanation - The referendum suggests to close channels between Moonriver and Khala Network since the latter is migrating to Ethereum and thus are being decommissioned from Kusama. Therefore, the XCM channels between Moonriver and Khala became unresponsive, so this proposal is made with the purpose of closing these channels
Referendum #71:
Decision - voted ‘Aye’ in personal funds (6x) and delegated tokens
Explanation - The referendum suggests to Authorize Upgrade for Moonriver to RT3501. Runtime 3500 was skipped and the current one include asset migration fix
Referendum #72:
Decision - voted ‘Aye’ in personal funds (6x) and delegated tokens
Explanation - The referendum suggests to Authorize Upgrade for Moonriver to RT3600. This RT will also decrease Moonbeam self bond to 500k GLMR in order to attract more potential collators. We initiated this discussion 2 months ago (can be found HERE) and happy to see it passes also on Moonbeam
Referendum #73:
Decision - voted ‘Aye’ in personal funds (6x) and delegated tokens
Explanation - he referendum suggests to to close channels between Moonriver and Calamari, Parallel Heiko and Picasso Network. The networks are not responsive anymore due to their migration and decommissioning their respective Parachains
